MONDAY NIGHTS
Every Monday at 7:30 pm, Fierce Backbone runs a play development workshop at our home at ArtWorks, 6567 Santa Monica Blvd. These workshops are the anchor of our process for nurturing new plays. Writers can bring in scenes, one acts, or even full plays in various stages of development, and then there is a constructive feedback period moderated by the head of our Writers Unit. Actors are cast beforehand, so often actors get to read a different part every week. Directors are invited to begin working with pieces that are getting closer to being ready for performance.
The workshops are fun, energetic, and highly informative to what Fierce Backbone is all about. Guest are always welcome!

One night only benefit performance!
Come join Fierce Backbone for a special party on December 6th. Free food and drink, a silent auction, and a 1-night-only performance of TS Cook's The Annual Meeting of the American Society of Lone Fishermen Who Have Found Dead Bodies. This warm and funny one act was developed at Fierce Backbone, and now we want to share it with everyone! Proceeds go to fund a 2012 season of new and startling work.
